Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Organisation Development, Organisational Processes, Human Resources.
I obtained my PhD on an interdisciplinary dissertation describing:
- What are the main ‘dials’ one can turn to influence organisational behaviour in organisational processes of any organisation? (EMOP= the Elementary Model of Organisational Processes)
- How can we measure the position of each of those ‘dials’? (EMQ=the Elementary Model Questionnaire)
- What happens when we turn those ‘dials’? (How can we influence organisational behaviour?)
Since then, I also focussed on aspects that affect organisational behaviour which are less common, but may have much impact on organisations’ functioning and organisation members’ well-being.

Organisational Diversity and Labour Market Discrimination
My research on this subject is exploratory, aimed at learning more about the extent, nature, motivation, consequences, and so on.

Teleworking: To what extent can it fulfil its promises?
Teleworking can have huge advantages, but it can also have substantial disadvantages. I am interested in optimising the benefits and minimising the down-sides of teleworking.

Effective employment of law
How predictable are the consequences of new laws?
I started this interdisciplinary research, relating to (financial) law, business management and economics, centred at the question: “Is effectiveness of employment of law concerning Corporate Governance sufficiently calculable?”
I am currently interested in expanding this research.
Effectiveness & Efficiency in Public Management
My research interests include examining ways to further optimise organisation effectiveness and efficiency within the public sector and how this relates to social structures and behaviours.
